Carr’s Hill Capital Partners‘ portfolio company SMART Safety Gulf Coast has acquired AMC Safety and Safe Construction Consulting as part of its strategy to broaden its geographic footprint and deepen its safety and compliance capabilities.
The acquisitions add safety program management, staffing, workforce development, construction safety consulting, jobsite inspections and OSHA training to SMART Gulf Coast’s platform while extending its reach into Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma and the broader southeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
AMC Safety, headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., was founded by Larry Irwin in 1993 and provides safety program management, staffing and workforce development services. Safe Construction Consulting, founded by Eric Stephan, brings more than 40 years of construction safety experience, offering consulting, jobsite inspections and OSHA training in both English and Spanish.
