Blackstone Energy Transition Partners has agreed to acquire Dresser Utility Solutions from First Reserve.

Founded in 1880 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, Dresser Utility Solutions provides natural gas and water measurement, control and infrastructure equipment for utilities and industrial customers. The company offers metering technology, digital instrumentation and software, pressure and flow control solutions, and infrastructure repair products. With approximately 850 employees across its global manufacturing footprint, Dresser supports customers in modernizing aging utility infrastructure and improving asset reliability.

D.A. Davidson & Co. and Jefferiesserved as financial advisors to Blackstone, while Kirkland & Ellis acted as its legal advisor. Harris Williams advised Dresser Utility Solutions financially, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett served as its legal advisor.
