ASG, a software company focused on buying and building software-as-a-service companies and backed by Alpine Investors, has bought WebInterstate LLC (doing business as MediMatrix), a Minneapolis-based mobile healthcare software business.

MediMatrix aims to make order management more efficient and speed up reimbursements for medical providers offering mobile radiology and imaging services. The service covers the entire process from imaging orders to dispatching a mobile tech, sending imagines and coordinating billing. MediMatrix founder, Ken Kern, will remain active in the business as chief technology officer.

“Ken and the MediMatrix team have created an industry-leading app that creates both better processes for its clients and better outcomes for their patients, and we’re looking forward to building on that — both through organic growth and continued acquisition in mission-critical healthcare software solutions,” comments Alice Song, president and head of mergers and acquisitions at ASG.

Generational Equity advised WebInterstate in this transaction.
