Mat Tech Industrial Services, backed by Allied Industrial Partners, has purchased Hook Set Transportation, an industrial hauling company serving the Houston-Beaumont Corridor.
The transaction expands Mat Tech’s footprint across the Gulf Coast, increases its fleet capacity, strengthens customer relationships, and enhances dispatch capabilities. The acquisition is the company’s first add-on acquisition since partnering with Allied Industrial Partners in 2023. Hook Set Transportation provides industrial hauling services throughout the Houston-Beaumont Corridor, supporting customers with transportation solutions for industrial operations. The addition of the company expands Mat Tech’s asset base and enhances its ability to deliver faster, more efficient service across one of the Gulf Coast’s key industrial markets.
