Schneider Geospatial LLC, a government technology services company and a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners, has purchased PeopleGIS.
Headquartered in Massachusetts, PeopleGIS offers an asset management software-as-a-service, focused on public works and permitting/licensing, which is utilized by local municipal departments. The acquisition marks Schneider Geospatial’s entry into the asset management software and aims to drive growth and innovation. As part of the deal, Schneider Geospatial will gain access to PeopleGIS’s suite of asset management tools, including its SimpliCITY software services.
