Revelation Partners, which focuses on healthcare secondaries investments, appointed Prashant Gangwal as partner and CFO.
Gangwal joins the firm from Altos Ventures, a San Francisco Bay Area-based registered investment advisor focused on early- to growth-stage technology companies, where he served as CFO and helped scale the firm’s finance and internal operations infrastructure. Michael Boggs, managing partner at Revelation Partners, says Gangwal brings decades of financial leadership experience across venture capital, private equity and secondaries investing as the firm seeks to strengthen its position in healthcare-focused secondary markets.
Before joining Altos Ventures, Gangwal was CFO, chief compliance officer and a founding team member at NewView Capital, a venture growth firm investing across enterprise software, fintech and healthcare. He played a role in the firm’s 2018 launch, which stemmed from one of the largest venture secondary buyout transactions at the time, giving him experience in secondary transactions, fund formation and institutional investment operations.
