Vantage Oncology LLC has purchased Radiation Oncology Services of America Inc.

Radiation Oncology owns and operates 17 radiation oncology centers in Georgia, Alabama, Texas, New Jersey and Florida. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Vantage, which operates a network of oncology centers, purchased the company from U.S. Renal Care Inc. The acquisition brings Vantage’s number of centers up to 63.

Other recent health care deals include Carlyle Group LP’s purchase of nursing-home operator Alloheim AG, Quintiles Transactional Holdings Inc.’s (NYSE: Q) acquisition of Novella Clinical,  and Catamaran Corp.’s (Nasdaq: CTRX) deal for Restat LLC.
