Trendwest Resorts, Inc.’s 80% shareholder JELD-WEN, Inc. is assessing its options with respect to the stake and has engaged Banc of America Securities to provide advice. Redmond, Wash.-based Trendwest, with a $400 million market cap, is a vacation timeshare operator. Privately held JELD-WEN, based in Klamath Falls, Ore., is a manufacturer of doors, windows and specialty wood products. The company also owns real estate and various vacation properties.
