M&A is on the rise and next year portends to be a strong one for dealmaking.
That was the overall sentiment at Mergers & Acquisitions‘ webinar, Predictions of the Hottest Sectors for M&A in 2025, sponsored by S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Panelists included investment banker Mark Boidman of Solomon Partners, PE executive Brian Decker, a partner at Francisco Partners, and Joe Mantone of S&P Global Market Intelligence. The event was moderated by M&A Contributing Editor Vishesh Raisinghani.
The session focused on historical data, provided by S&P, to set the stage for a conversation on where markets are going. Sector-specific outlooks were provided for digital media, technology, industrials and other sectors. The impact artificial intelligence will have on various sectors and potential deals that may spawn from it was a healthy part of the conversation as well.
