Online review company Yelp Inc. (NYSE: YELP) is purchasing SeatMe, a service that allows users to make restaurant reservations online. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

San Francisco-based SeatMe is targeted at restaurants that still rely on pen and paper to manage their reservations. The service also provides users with wait times and sends text messages when a table is ready.

The deal will expand Yelp’s online reservation service. Yelp, headquartered in San Francisco, recently started offering online delivery services through partnerships with Eat24 and delivery.com. The company says it plans to soon launch a service that can make appointments at spas, salons and dentists.

The deal follows restaurant reservation company OpenTable Inc.’s (Nasdaq: OPEN) acquisition of Foodspotting, which allows users to share pictures of food, in January, and Groupon’s purchase of restaurant reservation company Savored in September.
