TriMas Corp. (Nasdaq: TRS) has acquired Wulfrun Specialised Fasteners Ltd. for $9.6 million, in its third acquisition this year.

TriMas expects the deal to expand the manufacturing capabilities of Houston-based Lamons, which is a gasket, fastener and specialty bolt supplier. Lamons is a part of TriMas.

Wulfrun, based in Wolverhampton, England, manufactures and distributes specialty bolting and machined components for oil and gas, pipeline and power generation applications. The company generated $10 million in revenue for the year ended Dec. 31.

Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based TriMas provides engineered products for the packaging, energy, aerospace and defense and other industries.

The deal comes just after TriMas picked up Martinic Engineering in January. The company also bought Gasket Vedações Técnicas Ltda., a Brazilian business.

Also in the first quarter, Stanley Black & Decker Inc. (NYSE: SWK) completed its $850 million acquisition of Infastech Co. Ltd., a manufacturer of mechanical fasteners.
