Tata Technologies is buying Cambric Corp., a engineering services company.

Cambric provides engine, structures, electrical and hydraulic engineering services to customers in the machinery, agriculture and automotive sectors. The company, which is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, also has three development centers in Romania. The purchase price was about $32.5 million, according to reports.

Mumbai-based Tata provides engineering services to the manufacturing industry. The buyer expects the deal to expand its client base, especially in Europe.

Rothschild Inc. was Cambric’s financial adviser, while Holland & Hart LLP was the company’s legal counsel.
