Syncronys International Inc. (OTC Pink: SNTL) will buy Seeker Technologies Ltd., a technology company that detects land mines in Africa, for an undisclosed amount.

Seeker, based in England, is an aerial survey company with four businesses, including a mine-seeker unit that uses penetrating radar to detect sub-surface objects made of plastic and metal. Seeker also has a mineral seeker unit, used by the oil and gas industry, a land seeker unit that targets the agricultural sector, as well as an aqua seeker unit, which aims to find water.

Images from the company’s technology can be used to map resources and ensure safety of defense contractors in the U.S. and U.K., namely in post-conflict countries.

Syncronys, headquartered in Mandeville, La., provides solar power, grid power, wind power and water irrigation services.
