Pepco Holdings Inc. subsidiary Pepco Communications has hired an advisor to help sell its 50% stake in Washington, D.C.-based cable TV, Internet and telecommunications services provider Starpower. And the buyer will likely not be the owner of the other half, troubled bundled communications services provider RCN Corp., which is in the midst of a financial restructuring.
