Ben Adams has joined Dallas-based CenterOak Partners as a vice president. Adams is a member of the firm's investment team and will assist with all investment activities. He previously hed positions at TPG Capital and Morgan Stanley.


Jeff Akers was promoted from partner to head of secondary investments at Chicago-based Adams Street Partners. Akers, who has been with Adams Street since 2006, will oversee investments, fundraising and portfolio management.


Christopher Ainsley has been named CEO at ParkerGale-backed sensor technology company OnePlus Systems, located in Northbrook, Illinois. Ainsley was previously the CEO at retail data provider ShopperTrak. ParkerGale invested in OnePlus in 2015.


Monica Arora has joined Proskauer as a partner in New York. Most recently with White & Case, Arora advises private equity, real estate, infrastructure and debt funds on fund structuring and portfolio transactions.


Tracy Bacigalupo has joined Morrison & Foerster’s New York office as a partner. Previously with Foley & Lardner LLP, Bacigalupo advises companies on M&A and real estate investment trusts on transactions.


Doug Bacon has joined Kirkland & Ellis LLP's Houston office as a partner. Most recently with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Bacon concentrates on private equity and M&A.


Mark Brenke has been promoted from managing director to co-head of Ardian Private Debt. Before joining Ardian, Brenke was with Intermediate Capital Group (ICG). Ardian Private Debt has offices in London, Paris and Frankfurt.


John Cesarz was hired by Perella Weinberg Partners as a partner. Based in New York and most recently with Miller Buckfire, Cesarz focuses on M&A, corporate restructuring and financing.


Benjamin Daverman was promoted from principal to managing director at Chicago-based GTCR. Daverman joined GTCR in 2008 and was previously with Alta Partners.


Karl D’Cunha has joined CBIZ Valuation Group LLC’s Chicago office as a managing director. D’Cunha provides valuation services for hedge funds and private equity firms. He was previously with Houlihan Smith and Madison Street Capital.


William Eck was hired by Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Washington, D.C. office as a partner. Most recently with Hooper Lundy & Bookman, Eck focuses on M&A in the healthcare sector.


Simon Evers has joined Crowell & Moring LLP as a partner in London. Previously with Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, Evers concentrates on M&A in the energy and transportation sectors.


Lawrence Fey was promoted from principal to managing director at Chicago-based GTCR. Fey has joined GTCR in 2005 and was previously with Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS).




Ron Fondiller has joined Nixon Peabody’s Rochester, New York office as a counsel. Fondiller previously served as general counsel of Constellation Brands Inc.’s (NYSE: STZ) wine and spirits division.


Andrew Hough was hired by Seyfarth Shaw’s Atlanta office as a partner. Most recently with Ballard Spahr LLP, Hough concentrates on M&A in the food and beverage, healthcare and technology sectors.


Michael Jones has joined Keefe Bruyette & Woods Inc. as a managing director in Chicago. Most recently with Raymond James, Jones focuses on financial services.


Adriano José Ponciano was hired by Alvarez & Marsal as a managing director in São Paulo, Brazil. Most recently with KPMG, Ponciano focuses on tax matters related to M&A in the food, retail and healthcare industries.


Eli Katz has joined Latham & Watkins LLP’s New York office as a partner. Previously with Chadbourne & Parke, Katz focuses on tax structures and financing for U.S. renewable energy projects.


Larry Kurzweil has been named the CEO at Los Angeles-based fast casual restaurant operator Lemonade Restaurant Group, which is backed by Butterfly Enterprises and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (NYSE: KKR). Kurzweil previously served as the COO at Universal Studios Hollywood.


Paul Lapadat was named the CEO at Delta, British Columbia-based frozen cake producer the Original Cakerie, which is backed by Gryphon Investors. Lapadat previously served as the CEO of snacks distributor Flagstone Foods.




David Lipkin has joined McDermott Will & Emery as a partner in Menlo Park, California. Previously with Morrison & Foerster, Lipkin focuses on M&A in the technology and life sciences sectors.


Damien Loveday was hired by Angelo Gordon & Co. as a managing director in investor relations, where he will be responsible for expanding the firm’s relationships in the European, Middle East and African regions. Based in London, Loveday was most recently with Towers Watson.


Joseph Lovell was hired by Perella Weinberg Partners as a managing director. Based in New York and previously with Wells Fargo Securities (NYSE: WFC), Lovell focuses on M&A in asset management.


Helge Lund was hired by New York-based Clayton Dubilier & Rice as an operating adviser. Lund previously served as the CEO at oil companies BG Group plc and Statoil ASA. He has experience in the energy, industrials and healthcare sectors.


Carlos Medina has joined Greenhill & Co. (NYSE: GHL) as a managing director in New York. Most recently with BTG Pactual, Medina focuses on M&A in Latin America.

David Spaight has joined New York-based Arsenal Capital Partners as an operating partner in the firm’s healthcare group. Spaight was recently the CEO of biotechnology research company WL Research Co.


Don Sturdivant was hired by New York-based Snow Phipps Group as an operating partner, where he will focus on investments in the packaging industry. Sturdivant was most recently the CEO of truck and trailer parts distributor FleetPride.


Ken Taratus has joined Keefe Bruyette & Woods Inc. as a managing director in Atlanta. Previously with Raymond James, Taratus focuses on debt and equity financing.


Marshall Taylor has joined Houlihan Lokey Inc. (NYSE: HLI) as a managing director. Based in Dallas and previously with Alvarez Marsal, Taylor will lead Houlihan’s healthcare group in the firm’s transaction advisory services division.


Robert Tribuiani has joined Philadelphia-based Murray Devine & Co. as a managing director, where he will be head of business development. Most recently with SolomonEdwards, Tribuiani will be responsible for developing, executing and managing the firm’s sales strategies.


Giles Tucker was hired by Richmond, Virginia-based Harris Williams & Co. as a managing director. Tucker, who previously founded investment management firm Blue Edge Capital LLC, will work in Harris Williams’ industrials group.


David Vander Haar has joined Jones Day’s Minneapolis office as a partner. Most recently with Barnes & Thornburg, Vander Haar advises represents companies on M&A, joint ventures and restructurings.


Craig Zaph was hired by Cowen Group Inc. (NASDAQ: COWN) as head of debt capital markets. Based in New York and previously with Jefferies, Zaph has experience in the consumer, energy, industrials, healthcare, technology, media and telecom sectors.
