ACG New York Inc. — The New York chapter of the dealmaking organization Associate for Corporate Growth elected Heidi Deiner, director of business development for Murray Devine, as president. Deiner, who will officially step into the role on Sept. 1 , is currently ACG New York's vice president for programming. She succeeds Martin Okner, a managing director of New York consulting firm SHM Corporate Navigators. Deiner is also the first woman president of the organization in its 60-year history. Okner, meanwhile, will become ACG New York's chairman. He succeeds Stephen Prostor of Citi Private Bank, who will continue as a board member.


Bridge Growth Partners LLC  — The New York private equity firm hired Alison Catchpole, former chief financial officer of Solera Capital LLC, as vice president of finance and controller. Prior to joining Solera, Catchpole spent eight years at Invesco Private Capital as vice president of operations, where she was responsible for the accounting, performance measurement and trading for their direct and fund of funds investments. She began her career as an auditor with PwC. Bridge Growth specializes in technology and financial services.


Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP — Robert Klyman is joining the law firm as a partner in the business restructuring and reorganization practice group. He will balance his time between the Gibson Dunn & Crutcher's headquarters in Los Angeles as well as the firm's office in New York. Klyman comes from Latham & Watkins LLP where he advised the merger between US Airways Group Inc. and AMR Corp.


Jones Day — The New York law firm has brought in six new partners to its health care and life sciences practice. Four of the hires were previously from Squire Sanders LLP. They include David Grauer, Lisa Han, and John Kirsner—each slated to join Jones Day's Columbus, Ohio, office—and Scott Edelstein, who will based in Washington. Laura Laemmle-Weidenfeld from Patton Boggs LLP and Laurie Clarke from King & Spalding LLP have also joined Jones Day in Washington.


Keefe Bruyette & Woods — The London investment banking subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) appointed Alessandro Santoni (pictured) to its European equity research team as a managing director. Santoni will oversee the firm’s emerging market bank research services across Italy, Greece and Austria. Santoni previously held leadership positions at a number of financial services companies, including Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Italy’s third largest bank, as well as Goldman Sachs & Co. (NYSE: GS) and ABN AMRO Bank NV, also in London.


Landmark Partners — The Simsbury, Connecticut, private equity firm tapped Jarrett Vitulli as a principal with the firm. Vitulli will be based in Landmark's New York office and focus on structuring real estate secondary transactions. Most recently, Vitulli was a managing director within the private funds group of UBS AG.


Paul Hastings LLP — David Hernand has jumped from Cooley LLP to the law firm's Los Angeles office as a partner. Hernand specializes in technology, media and entertainment companies. Prior to Cooley, he was a partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP and, before that, at Latham & Watkins LLP.


Seyfarth Shaw LLP — The law firm brought in partner Michael Clark to be a part of its corporate department in Los Angeles. Clark joins Seyfarth from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was a partner in the corporation, banking and business department.
