Arle Capital Partners — The London-based private equity firm appointed Quentin Nason as a partner responsible for investor relations, strategy and business development. Before joining Arle, Nason was a managing director at Deutsche Bank.


Capital One Bank — The bank has expanded its middle-market banking team with the appointment of Paul Darrigo as senior vice president of its Long Island and Queens. Prior to joining Capital One, Darrigo was at RBS Citizens for five years. Before that, he spent seven years serving as vice president of middle market and mid-corporate banking at Citigroup. He began his career with The Bank of New York and over the past two decades he has focused on serving the New York region, particularly Long Island.


Clearview Capital — The Greenwich, Conn.-based private equity firm announced three promotions: James Tucker and Matthew Blevins to principal, and John Cerra to chief financial officer. Blevins joined Clearview in 2007 as an associate. Tucker also joined the firm in 2007 as vice president-business development. Cerra joined Clearview in 2010 as a controller.


Espirito Santo Financial Group SA – The firm has decided to start an investment banking business in India and has appointed George Mathew to be at the helm. Based in Mumbai, Mathew is expected to build the team and grow the institution's presence in the investment banking space. He began his career as a credit rating analyst at Credit Rating and Information Services of India Ltd.


Genstar Capital LLC — The middle-market private equity firm announced the promotions of Eli Weiss to principal and David Golde to vice president. Weiss joined Genstar in 2008 and was named a vice president in 2011. Prior to joining Genstar, he was an associate at Hellman & Friedman LLC. Golde first joined Genstar in 2006 as an associate, left to earn a master’s degree at Stanford University and re-joined the firm in 2010 as a senior associate.


Haskell & White LLP — The Southern California accounting firm promoted Jennifer Cavender and John McNair. Cavender, who has been with the firm since 2000, is now senior manager in the audit and business advisory services department, while McNair is now senior in the tax department. McNair has been with Haskell & White since 2011.


LaSalle Investment Management — The firm appointed Elisabeth Stheeman as global chief operating officer. Stheeman joins from Morgan Stanley in London, where she was the chief operating officer in the investment banking division. In this post, she replaces 31-year chief operating officer Kim Woodrow.


Monroe Capital LLCJeffrey Kolke (pictured) has joined as a managing director in the lending firm’s Chicago office. Kolke was previously a senior vice president at GE Capital, where he spent 15 years. He has experience in recapitalizations, mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, leveraged buyouts and many other corporate strategies. Prior to GE Capital, Kolke held several leadership positions in various firms, including GE Plastics, Nalco Chemical and National Starch & Chemical.
