Merex Inc. has closed a deal for Aircraft Logistic Support Co., a company that provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services for fuel and electrical systems.

The target services mainly military and commercial aircrafts.

Merex expects the acquisition to help it service international customers. The Dubin Clark & Co. Inc.-owned company provides parts, repair and project management for U.S. aircraft and helicopter engines. After Dubin Clark's October 2011 acquisition of the company, it has acquired Kinston, N.C.-based Commerce Overseas, a provider of spare parts to military aircraft customers in April 2012.

Greenwich, Conn.-based private equity firm Dubin Clark invests in middle market buyouts. The company built CompUSA from a two-store operation to a multi-billion dollar national chain. The firm’s other portfolio companies include Artromick International Inc., Classy Party Rentals Inc. and Trim Parts Inc.
