Odyssey Investment Partners LLC has acquired Cross-Country Pipeline Supply Co. Inc.

Cross-Country, headquartered in Aurora, Colo., provides equipment and supplies to the domestic oil and gas pipeline construction industry. The company’s customers are usually pipeline contractors engaged by energy companies to construct new pipelines or retrofit or repair existing lines. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Private equity firm Odyssey, based in New York, has about $3 billion in capital under management and typically makes control investments. The firm’s investments include BarrierSafe Solutions International Inc., Integrated Power Services and Ranpak Corp.

As energy deals have continued, M&A between the companies that provides services to oil and gas companies has been constant. In June, Emcor Group Inc. (NYSE: EME) announced it would buy RepconStrickland Inc. for $455 million, and Savage said it would purchase Ft. Worth Pipe Services LP. In May, MasTec Inc. (NYSE: MTZ) acquired Big Country Energy Services Inc. for $103 million.
