Interpublic Group of Cos. has tapped Goldman Sachs to assist the company in exploring strategic options for its NFO Worldgroup subsidiary. But Interpublic will have to take a hit on the sale if a buyer steps up for NFO, said analysts. New York-based Interpublic provides advertising and marketing services to a variety of companies, including sports teams. The $5.6 billion market cap company’s operating groups include McCann-Erickson and Advanced Marketing services.
