The Freeman Co. (UK) Ltd. has purchased the assets of event-services firm So Group, which is in bankruptcy in the U.K.

Freeman was the successful bidder for the business and assets of London-based So Group as part of a sales process during the company’s administration. The company and its subsidiary, 360 Creative Event Services, will operate under Freeman and will be called So Group, a Freeman Company.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The So Group reportedly went into administration, British bankruptcy, the same day the deal was announced.

Freeman, headquartered in Dallas, provides marketing services, including expositions, conventions, corporate events and exhibits.
