Evergreen Pacific Partners has purchased SafeWorks from private equity firm Wynnchurch Capital Ltd. for an undisclosed amount.
SafeWorks, headquartered in Seattle, Washington, manufactures products used by customers that need aerial access for construction, repair or maintenance, including service lifts, climb-assists, platforms and rigging devices.
Seattle-based Evergreen manages two private equity funds with $700 million in commitments. The firm's other investments include Span Alaska Transportation Inc., which provides freight and logistics services, and Vantage Mobility International, seller of wheelchair-accessible transportation vehicles.
Wynnchurch, headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, specializes in investing in U.S. and Canadian middle market companies. The firm acquired SafeWorks in August 2006.
Patrick Hanraty of Harris Williams & Co. provided financial advice to SafeWorks on the deal.
