On June 29, the privately held publisher announced it hired Evercore Partners to explore strategic options for its Copley Los Angeles Newspapers (CLAN) division. CLAN operates four newspapers, including two dailies, The Beach Reporter and Daily Breeze, and the biweekly Palos Verdes Peninsula News.
