D’Agostino Supermarkets Inc. is still interested in purchasing Marks & Spencer Group PLC’s upscale Kings Supermarkets chain, even if it is no longer the only bidder. On Nov. 30, New York-based D’Agostino’s exclusivity contract expired when it could not raise the financing for its $160 million bid. That put the 29-store Kings chain back on the block, where it has sat since March of 2001, when London-based Marks & Spencer announced a company overhaul.
