AE Industrial Partners bought aerospace parts maker Moeller Mfg. Co. LLC., also known as Moeller Aerospace. The investment is AEI’s fourth deal within the last year. The PE firm raised its debut fund earlier in 2016.

Moeller, founded in 1953 and based in Wixom, Michigan, manufactures parts such as rings, brackets and blades for airplanes. Moeller president Kevin Atkinson says with AEI‘s investment Moeller “will have significant new business potential to develop and realize.” Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Boca Raton, Florida-based has been busy making aerospace deals. Earlier in 2016, the PE firm acquired another metals producer in AC&A; in 2015, AEI invested in staffing provider Belcan Corp. along with parts supplier Kellstrom.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP advised AEI. Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP along with P&M Corporate Finance LLC advised Moeller.
