Starwood Capital Group (NYSE: STWD) is seeking to raise $10 billion for its Distressed Opportunity Fund XIII. For the first time in the fund series history, Starwood is allocating a sizable portion to launch data center platforms. The real estate giant says the unprecedented demand for data centers is too juicy for even a fund dedicated to struggling assets to pass up.
