One decade ago, independent sponsor Alpine Pacific Capital acquired two businesses providing catering and emergency management services in disaster situations. The combined entity, renamed Ellipse Global, eventually secured contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and other government branches. Alpine later sold Ellipse to GardaWorld Federal Services for a nice sum. More below.
