Paddletek, backed by Thirty-5 Capital, has acquired PIKKL as part of its strategy to broaden its pickleball equipment portfolio, which already includes Paddletek, ProXR and Yobow.
The acquisition integrates PIKKL’s performance paddle technology into Paddletek’s existing product lineup, including the Bantam, Tempest and Honeyfoam platforms. As part of the announcement, Paddletek also signed professional pickleball players JW Johnson, Jorja Johnson, Julie Johnson and Tyra Black to Team Paddletek.
PIKKL was founded by Mike Strommen and Dan Martinson with a mission to develop professional-quality pickleball equipment for players of all skill levels.Following the acquisition, Strommen and Martinson will continue working with Paddletek to support product innovation and the development of future performance paddle technologies.
