ServiceTrade, backed by JMI Equity, has bought Mura, an agentic AI platform that automates billing and collections for commercial contractors.
The deal expands ServiceTrade’s Stella AI suite to cover the full field service lifecycle—from proposal generation and scheduling through invoicing and cash collection—making it the company’s first end-to-end AI offering for commercial fire protection and mechanical contractors. Mura develops AI software that automates the post-job order-to-cash process by integrating with field service management systems. Its platform includes AI-powered invoicing, collections and purchase order automation, helping contractors reduce manual administrative work, accelerate invoice processing, and shorten billing cycles.
