Martis Capital Management has acquired a majority equity stake in Deerfield Group, a healthcare-focused marketing, communications and media agency serving the life sciences sector.
Deerfield’s founders and management team will retain significant ownership in the business. The investment is intended to accelerate the company’s growth by expanding its capabilities, enhancing existing service offerings and advancing new technology and AI-enabled services for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.
Based in the Philadelphia area, Deerfield Group provides integrated marketing, communications, media and strategic services to healthcare and life sciences organizations ranging from early-stage biotechnology companies to large pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company has grown revenue by more than 30 percent annually since 2017.
