Warburg Pincus has agreed to acquire Network Plus, a utility and infrastructure service provider in the U.K., from OMERS Private Equity.
The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval, and following completion, Network Plus’ existing leadership team and brand will remain in place. The acquisition reflects Warburg Pincus’ strategy of expanding its European infrastructure services portfolio and supporting businesses positioned to benefit from long-term investment in the U.K.’s critical infrastructure.
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Worsley, Greater Manchester, Network Plus provides maintenance, enhancement and operational services across the water, wastewater, gas, electricity and broader infrastructure sectors. The company partners with many of the U.K.’s largest utility providers to deliver essential infrastructure programmes, supporting the maintenance and improvement of critical national assets.
