CAZ Investments has appointed Greg Grissom as executive director of sports investing, a newly created role in which he will work alongside the firm’s investment management leadership to assess sports-related investment opportunities, strengthen relationships across professional sports ownership groups, and support the continued growth of CAZ’s sports investing platform.

Christopher Zook, founder and chief investment officer of CAZ Investments, said Grissom’s operational experience and industry relationships will help further differentiate the firm’s sports investment strategy.

Grissom joins CAZ Investments after nearly 25 years with the Houston Texans, where he most recently served as president. During his tenure, he held senior leadership positions spanning corporate development and business operations, ultimately overseeing the franchise’s business functions. Prior to joining the Texans, he worked in sports marketing and began his professional sports career with the Houston Astros.
