The McLean Group bolstered its international capabilities, recruiting Richard Wottrich as a senior managing director. Wottrich was last at Chicago's Dresner Partners, where he was a managing director.

Wottrich's specialty is cross-border M&A, as he previously served as the chairman and president of international advisory network IMAP. Prior to joining Dresner, Wottrich founded DSI Global M&A in 1992 and served as president and managing director up until his arrival at Dresner in 2008.

McLean's international desk already includes 150 correspondent investment banks and capital groups in 35 countries. Wottrich, meanwhile, will be based in Chicago.

The Virginia-based McLean Group currently has 30 offices domestically, and most recently opened a Dallas office, bringing on Ron Stacey and Brett Stacey in August from Legacy Advisors.
