U.S. HealthWorks has acquired IndustriCare, an urgent care center.

IndustriCare is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and provides full-service occupational medical center. The group will be U.S. HealthWorks' third urgent care center in North Carolina. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

U.S. HealthWorks, headquartered in Valencia, California, has 211 centers and worksites in 19 states. The company is a subsidiary of Dignity Health,a San Francisco not-for-profit operator of hospitals and ancillary care facilities. In November, U.S. HealthWorks bought an urgent care center in Pompano Beach, Florida, that provides workers' compensation, occupational medicine and urgent care services.

Other recent urgent care deals include American CareSource Holdings' (Nasdaq: ANCI) purchase of CorrectMed LLC, which allows the company to enter the urgent care market. In April, Rite Aid Corp. (NYSE: RAD) picked up RediClinic, a retail clinic operator.
