Telecommunications group Transtelco has closed a deal for XC Networks.

Dallas-based XC Networks owns and operates data centers, fiber assets and wireless spectrum in the U.S. and Mexico. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

El Paso, Texas-based Transtelco provides telecommunications services. The company owns a fiber network in the southern U.S. and Mexico that offers Internet access and voice services. The deal expands the company’s footprint and adds more services and clients.

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. acted as financial adviser and sole placement agent for Transtelco. MC Credit Partners LP provided financing for the deal, and Gordon David Johnson & Shane PC provided legal advice.
