TransDigm Group Inc. (NYSE: TDG) is buying Arkwin Industries Inc. for $286 million in cash.

Arkwin, headquartered in Westbury, N.Y., manufactures engineered aerospace hydraulic and fuel system parts for aircrafts and helicopters.

Cleveland-based TransDigm makes and supplies engineered components for commercial and military aircrafts.

In April, TransDigm agreed to pay $39 million for Aerosonic Corp. (NYSE: AIM). 

Companies have been scooping up airplane parts makers recently. In May, Heico Corp. (NYSE: HEI.A, HEI) announced it was buying Reinhold Holdings Inc., and in April, Merex Inc. closed a deal for Aircraft Logistic Support Co.
