Wabtec Corp. (NYSE: WAB) has acquired LH Group, which provide maintenance and overhaul services for the passenger transit market, for $48 million.

Birmingham, England-based LH Group has annual sales of about $65 million.

Wabtec, headquartered in Wilmerding, Pa., provides technology-based products and services for the rail and transit industry. It manufactures products for locomotives, freight cars and passenger transit vehicles.
