Primoris Services Corp. (Nasdaq: PRIM) has acquired the assets of the Saxon Group Inc. for about $3.2 million.

Saxon, headquartered in Sugar Hill, Ga., is a construction company that specializes in the industrial-gas processing and power plant sectors. It provides mechanical, piping and electrical services. The company will operate as Saxon Construction Inc. as part of Primoris’ east construction services segment.

Dallas-based Primoris is a specialty contractor and infrastructure company that provides fabrication, maintenance, replacement, water and wastewater, and engineering services to public utilities, petrochemical companies, energy companies and municipalities.
