An investor group led by private equity firms the Courtney Group Inc. and Pegasus Capital Group has acquired Plansee TMS, a company that designs and manufactures custom parts for microelectronics, for an undisclosed amount.
The business will be known as Santier and is headquartered in San Diego.
The microelectronics parts are used by the aerospace, defense, telecommunications and medical markets.
The Courtney Group, based in Newport Beach, Calif., provides investment banking and private equity services. The firm has completed 18 private equity investments.
Pegasus Capital is a Los Angeles private equity firm that invests in companies with at least $2 million in operating cash flow.
