Kitchen Brains has purchased Modularm Corp., a company that makes products for freezers.
Modularm, headquartered in Commack, N.Y., manufactures temperature and refrigeration monitoring systems. Its products include temperature alarms, freezer door monitors and web data-logging systems.
Stanford, Conn.-based Kitchen Brains makes wireless-network products for the commercial kitchen and food-service industry, such as cooking timers and process controllers. The company’s technology allows aspects of the kitchen to be accessed and managed remotely. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
