Bacardi Ltd. has acquired St-Germain, a company that makes elderflower liqueur, for an undisclosed amount.

St-Germain is available in the U.S. and internationally. The liquor is made from elderflowers.

Bacardi is a privately-held spirits company that produces and markets spirits and wines. Its brands include Bacardi rum, Grey Goose vodka, Dewar’s Blended Scotch whisky, Bombay Sapphire gin and Martini vermouth.

The deal follows other spirit deals from 2012, including Beam Inc.’s (NYSE: BEAM) purchasing of Pinnacle vodka and Calico Jack rum from White Rock Distilleries for $605 million in April. Deerfield, Ill.-based Beam is known for bourbon whiskey brands including Jim Beam and Maker's Mark. And in June, Pernod Ricard SA (Paris: RI) closed its €48 million ($60.4 million) acquisition of Hite Jinro Co. Ltd.’s 30 percent stake in Korean whiskey brand Imperial.
