Television personality and radio host Ryan Seacrest is reportedly buying a majority stake in Civic Entertainment Group, a television-focused marketing agency.
New York-based Civic Entertainment provides marketing for brands in the entertainment, sports, communications, banking and travel sectors. The firm was founded in 1999. The company has produced events such as NBC’s Education Nation, and created marketing campaigns for HBO and CNN.
Seacrest is the host on reality television show “American Idol,” and is the executive producer for television shows “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Married to Jonas,” and “Khloe & Lamar.” Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
