Partners Group has invested $110 million in Softonic, a program that lets users find information about software programs or electronic devices.

Barcelona-based Softonic has a catalogue of more than 160,000 software programs that includes ratings and reviews. The company plans to increase its presence in the U.S., China and Japan.

Partners Group, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, is a private equity firm that has more than $36 billion in assets under management. The company invests in real estate, infrastructure and private debt.
