Technology-focused firm Catalyst Investors has closed a fund with $377 million in commitments.

The fund, Catalyst Investors IV, exceeded its $350 million target. The fund will invest between $10 million and $60 million in business and consumer services, cloud computer, and communications infrastructure companies. Catalyst Investors IV has already completed its first investment, according to the firm.

New York-based Catalyst closed its previous fund with $213 million in August 2012. The firm makes growth equity investments in technology-related companies, including Software as a Service, e-commerce and health care tech businesses.

Catalyst's other investments include Reputation Institute, which tracks corporate reputations, and Conductor, a web-presence tracker.

Several private equity firms have closed funds recently. On April 28, Staple Street Capital announced it closed a $265 million fund that will focus on restructuring situations, and on April 27, TPG Growth announced it closed a $3 billion fund.
