Private equity firms TA Associates and Updata Partners are planning to make an investment in the Nintex Group.
Nintex, headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, provides workflow software services that allow companies to automate business processes through drag and drop tools. The company also provides cloud services.
The investment should allow Nintex to expand internationally. Macquarie Capital previously invested in the company. Terms were not disclosed.
TA Associate, based in Boston, has invested in more than 425 companies in the technology, financial services, business services, health care and consumer industries.
Washington, D.C.-based Updata has about $500 million in capital under management, which it invests in software, Internet and technology companies.
Gilbert & Tobin and Goodwin Proctor LLP were TA’s legal counsel, while KPMG provided accounting services. Proskauer Rose LLP is Updata Partners counsel, Allens is Nintex’s legal counsel, and Spurrier Capital Partners and Macquarie are providing Nintex’s advisory services.
