Private equity firm Sverica International Management LLC has acquired Dexmet Corp., a company that manufactures engineered expanded foils and polymers.

The foils and polymers are used by aircraft manufacturers to protect planes from lightning, and by filtration, automotive and battery companies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sverica has raised more than $425 million in capital across its three funds. The firm’s portfolio companies include The Center for Wound Healing Inc., Creative Catalog Concepts and Quest Education.

Abacus Finance Group LLC served as administrative agent and sole lead arranger for $16 million in senior secured credit facilities to support the deal.
