Xerox (NYSE: XRX) has purchased Impika, an inkjet printing company, for an undisclosed amount.

Impika, headquartered in Aubagne, France, makes water-based inkjet printers used for industrial, commercial, security, label and package printing. The company’s printers provide resolutions up to 2400 by 1200 dpi. Xerox has been reselling the Impika brand in Europe since 2011.

Norwalk, Conn.-based Xerox makes copy machines, printers and other products for business process and document managements.
