New York private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners has acquired RotoMetrics for an undisclosed amount.
RotoMetrics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, provides made-to-order precision rotary tools and accessories. The products are used in tags, labels and packaging items for the consumer goods, health care and industrial markets. The company has 11 facilities in nine countries.

Sentinel has invested in other specialty industrial businesses, including Alemite, Chase Doors, a building products company that it sold to Audax Group in September, and Chromalox, a heating technology company.

The firm focuses on buying lower middle market businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Sentinel’s recent investments include Hollander Sleep Products, which makes bedding, in October, and TGI Fridays, which Sentinel agreed to buy in May in partnership with TriArtisan Capital Partners.
