Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. (NYSE: RRTS) has purchased Marisol International LLC for $66 million.

Springfield, Mo.-based Marisol provides international logistics services, including ocean and air transportation management, customs-house brokerage services and domestic logistics services.

Roadrunner, headquartered in Cudahy, Wis., provides transportation and logistics services.

The deal allows Roadrunner to broaden international capabilities.

Financing for the deal came from Roadrunner’s credit facility.

Other recent transportation deals include XPO Logistics Inc.’s (NYSE: XPO) acquisition of 3PD Inc. for $365 million, and FedEx Corp’s. (NYSE: FDX) purchase of Supaswift’s businesses in five African countries.
