Private equity firm the Riverside Co. has made a majority investment in Arcos.

Columbus, Ohio-based Arcos provides a group of software-as-a-service products that aim to call and assemble crews to restore power and handle work in power plants, as well as fix gas and water leaks.

Riverside also owns a company that provides severe weather notifications in emergency situations, called Emergency Communications Network LLC.

In October, the New York and Cleveland-based private equity firm purchased Catalyst Awareness, NJoy Baby SL, and EcoSmart US LLC

US Bank provided the financing for the deal, and Jones Day and Deloitte advised Riverside.
